This is a book that encourages readers to cherish and reflect on the things that bring them joy and happiness. It is also a wonderful book that celebrates indigenous culture, wellness, and traditions. The book is written in both plains Cree and English. After reading the story, we used @creativekindergartenblogontpt template to reflect on the things that make our hearts happy. We illustrated them with sharpie, labelled them with beginning sounds, coloured with wax crayons and finished them off with liquid watercolour.
