We are free when we accept the things we can’t control. If you want to improve your mental health, learning how to identify what you can & can’t control can go a long way. This may seem simple, but it may take some work #pgclinical

In stressful situations, we try to control our environment, other people or the things around us that are not in our control to handle the stress. But, it won't help because we can't change what we can't control. Instead, focus on what you can control.

Today is National "I am In Control Day" and it's a great opportunity to take a moment and remind yourself of the things we are in control over, the things we do NOT have control over AND the importance of letting what we have NO control over GO! Remember take charge of the things you can control one by one and let the rest of that stuff go! 🥰
