1955 Huffy Radio Bike

As we entered the 60's we also entered the "Space Age" and so too did the styling of our bicycles. The JC Higgins Flightliner gives us a glimpse of what to expect out of early 60's bicycles. This bike features lighted horn tank, springer fork, rear carrier with tail light, and chrome fenders.

The 52a was Shelby's Top of The Line Postwar Ballooner Bicycle and was Designed to Go head to head with and rival Sales away from the Popular Schwinn Phantom Ballooner Bike. This Particular Shelby 52a is a bike from the period that AMF owned and CWC manufactured the Shelby Bicycle. The 52a is one of my Favorite bikes blending Beauty and style, that is unmatched.
