Westminster Cathedral in London is the mother church of the Roman Catholic community in England and Wales and the Cathedral of the Archbishop of Westminster. It is dedicated to the Most Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. Construction started in 1895 and finished in 1903. Sir Thomas More made pilgrimages to Westminster Abbey in honor of the circa 1420 alabaster statue known as Our Lady of Pew. The statue is now located in Westminster Cathedral (now called Our Lady of Westminster).
