The results of the link budget program with the effects of changing the parameters will be shown inside the same active screen, which makes the users (students and trainers) analyze the reason that causes the weak signal when it reaches the satellite receiver.

OFDM is one of the main techniques proposed to be employed in 4th Generation Wireless Systems. One of the OFDM key parameters is a cyclic Prefix (CP). Cyclic prefix is a guard time length padded with every OFDM symbol to completely alleviate Inter-symbol Interference (ISI) and to preserve orthogonality among OFDM subcarriers as long as the guard time length is sufficiently greater than channel delay spread. This paper analyzes OFDM system and the effect of cyclic prefix and length of cyclic prefix on OFDM system. Besides, compare the performance of the system with and without cyclic prefix. The simulations were carried out over AWGN and Rayleigh fading channels, and the results have been compared with the theoretical ones.

In the previous year's many routing protocols was developed, implemented, and evaluated for transmission of data in the Mobile ad hoc network (MANET), where it envisioned to be a useful technology in military communication systems and other areas. One of the routing protocols used in MANET is the hierarchical routing protocol that considered an energy efficient. Therefore, in this paper, a comprehensive study will be presented of the hierarchical routing protocol for MANET in order to expose new open issues to either improve the existing routing techniques or to develop new routing solutions for other researchers. The reviewed routing protocol is designed to support networks of a medium size, containing approximately between 150 to 250 nodes but less than 3,000 nodes. The reviewed design is intentionally simple to allow ease of implementation in comparison with other MANET protocols that provide similar functionality

of data communication tool using the wireless transmission in
the Local Area Network (LAN). It includes the physical and
the Media Access Control (MAC) layers of the ISO seven-layer
network model. Therefore, investigating its performance with
different ad-hoc network environment is necessary. Previously, a
number of studies investigate the performance of various routing
protocols using different evaluation methods with simulators,
resulting to different outcomes. Thus, there is a need to expand
the spectrum to take into consideration the effects of file size,
numbers of nodes and mobility that were neglected in a specific
environment and compare them with real life scenario MANET
network. This paper present analysis results for the performance
evaluation of transmitting FTP file with AODV routing protocol in
OPNET modeler and real life network for several scenarios with
802.11b wireless networking transmission method. Simulation
results demonstrate that the scenarios with small amount of fixed
and mobile nodes shows better performance. The overall network
performance automatically degrades with the increment of number
of nodes as well as increment of packet size

changes its location frequently and automatically configures itself. In this paper, four routing protocols
that are OLSR, GRP, DSR, and AODV are discussed along with three TCP variants that are SACK, New
Reno and Reno. The main focus of this paper is to study the impact scalability, mobility and traffic loads
on routing protocols and TCP variants. The paper results shows that the proactive protocols OLSR and
GRP outperform the reactive protocols AODV and DSR with the same nodes size, nodes speed, and traffic
load. On the other hand, the TCP variants research reveal the superiority of the TCP SACK variant over
the other two variants in case of adapting to varying network size, while the TCP Reno variant acts more
robustly in varying mobility speeds and traffic loads.

MANET is a distinctive type of ad-hoc network that has stations changing their locations frequently, and automatically configuring themselves. Nodes can move freely in MANET while transmitting and receiving the data traffic by using wireless radio waves. Consequently, routing has become a vital factor and a key challenge for finding the best route in many MANET environments. The main focus of this paper is to analyze the impact of real time traffic (voice, video conference) and non-real time traffic (HTTP, FTP, Email) on the four routing protocols, Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV), and Geographical Routing Protocol (GRP) over MANETs and also investigate their performance based on the average end-to-end delay and throughput. It is shown with extensive simulation results that OLSR protocol produces the highest throughput and the lowest delay compared to other protocols for non-real time and real time video traffic. It is also shown that OLSR protocol produces the lowest delay and acceptable throughput for real time voice traffic

The wireless ad hoc network eradicates the complications which may arise while setting up the infrastructure. The mobility model is crucial when evaluating routing protocols exhibition in mobile ad hoc networks. Two parameters are very important when dealing with mobility behavior of mobile nodes: pause time and maximum speed. In this paper, we investigate the effect of mobility model on state of art proactive and reactive routing protocols for mobile ad hoc networks. The Reference Point Group Mobility model and the Random Way Point Mobility model represent the group and an entity mobility model used in this simulation to compare and analyze the performance of the routing protocols. In this study the performance analysis and comparison of the routing protocols under different mobility scenarios are evaluated in Network Simulator 2. Four important performance metrics of ad hoc networks including average end-to-end delay, packet delivery ratio, normalized routing load or overhead and average number of hops are considered. Based on the empirical study, both propagation models cause different impact on the AODV and DSDV routing protocol. Where, AODV performs better with the RPGM than the RWPM with respect to end-to end-delay, normalized routing load and average number of hops. However, in delivery ratio AODV performs better with the RWPM than the RPGM. On the other hand, AODV and DSDV protocols have similar results in delivery ratio and average number of hops and DSDV performed better than AODV in normalized routing and end-to-end delay. Finally, it can be concluded that no protocol significantly outperforms the other in all scenarios and matrics considered.

There are already developed autonomous agricultural vehicles that can track a path, and perform the specified processes on the plantation fields. These autonomous agricultural robotic machines need an upper level of control, which is mostly performed manually, for the design of the reference paths. Detection of the agricultural obstacles is necessary to accomplish these manual tasks in an automatic manner. In this paper, statistical methods are employed and compared to determine which of the five well-known edge-detection methods is best, for the high-level path planning in an agricultural automation of autonomous agricultural vehicles depending on field and image properties. Hence, this paper shows that the best technique is Sobel edge detection, it has higher average accuracy in detecting trees around 84% and lower percent misdetection false positive error is 16% also lower false negative error wrong obstacle detection inside the fields is 6.5% total errors for this technique is 22.5% from other techniques which represents a significant result, which is precise enough for any agricultural purpose

Spe-cifically, it is concentrated on the role of input noise with reference to the renormalization terms in the model. The investigation shows that the use of noise in the inputs can improve the spiking rates and the spike coherence values, especially in the presence of the renormalization terms.

Mobile Ad-hoc Network is a special point of focus for industry and academic researchers from all around the globe. This technology has come with its own flavour as it is easy to deploy in disaster areas and for emergency operations. MANET creates a temporary environment of mobile nodes without the need of any centralized networks. The nodes collaborate with each other to send and forward packets to destination nodes. Mobile Ad hoc Network do not rely on wired network routing protocols. It uses its own Ad hoc routing protocols that are entirely different from the tradition wired network as routing path breaks due to self-organized nodes while discovering multi hop routes through network. Video streaming applications are of various types like video Conferencing, video chat, video on demand and live video streaming. These different applications have different resource requirements which shall be met by MANET according to the availability of resources, In this paper, a comprehensive simulation based on a comparative study over MANET is performed on video streaming applications under two types of routing protocols covering reactive, and proactive routing protocols namely Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) and Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV), both these protocols have been considered for investigation by using OPNET simulation, throughput, delay, Load and Data retransmission metrics have been used for measuring these protocols.
