The Darkroom on Instagram: "Which do you prefer, E-6 Slide Film vs. C-41 Color Negative? Ektachrome 100 and Portra 160 are both fine grain film stocks but that’s one of the few similarities. Both are beautiful film stocks but as you can see, they produce very different results. Ektachrome 100 is an E-6 slide film which has beautiful vibrant color with cool tones and has less exposure latitude resulting in more contrast and stronger tones. Portra 160 is a C-41 Color negative known for its warmth, subtle tones, mild contrast, and very high exposure latitude. The first five frame are 35mm taken with a Canon Elan 7 + 40mm and the last five were taken with a Mamiya 6 + 75mm.
