My inspo was $1799. Mine? $525!

We have a queen mattress in our guest room. So I based my measurements on a 60x80” mattress!

I had Home Depot cut down 3/4” plywood to 31x60” & 18x60” for the headboard and footboard.

I bought 16 select pine 2x2s for the frame and canopy which came in at $208. My canopy is 92” tall!

I also bought decorative trim to put inside the headboard and footboard frames for an added touch! This part was optional and cost $120.

I decided my bed legs would be 6” to hide the metal frame I put inside to hold the mattress and box spring. Annnd I used my existing mattress to determine the height of my headboard! I believe I started it 27” up from the ground Hide Metal Bed Frame Legs Ideas, Diy Canopy Bed, Bed Frame Legs, Canopy Bed Diy, Furniture Fix, Bed Legs, Diy Canopy, Canopy Bed, Queen Mattress
