Often overlooked and in my humble opinion, so underrated, lighting for me is as important for outside as it is for inside. 

In this space we used outdoor LED strip lighting on two different angled profiles (flat/face-up around the boarders and 45 degrees under the steps), spot lights for the large trees (I need to get a proper night shot to show you how we have lit the big trees behind the feature wall too - this gives depth beyond the wall and pretty shadows), and lastly pillar/post lights for the path to create height. 

So what would my top 3 tips be?
