Our butcher block countertops were too yellow for what I wanted. So I sanded the countertops using an 80 grit sandpaper and then 220 grit sandpaper. I then used a pre stain conditioner, minwax wood stain in tinsmith grey and then last butcher block oil and finsh in clear. Super easy. It took me a day to do. I will link all the things I used.
