This honey pot with oak branches was in my last firing of 2023, and I've been itching to make more lidded jars all spring. I'm carving a batch of 5 this weekend-- swipe to see the one I just finished! The carved lines look all fuzzy and messy at this stage-- I will clean up those clay burrs later on, when the pot has had time to fully dry, and then paint and inlay color into the carved design.
