Aftercare is key to dark henna stains! I left my henna on for 19+ hours and removed the dried henna with coconut oil. It's best to avoid water for the first 24 hours after paste removal however if you must use water for any reason (wudu, house chores) apply a generous amount of coconut oil before light water use and use rubber gloves for house chores. It's important to take care of your henna stains for best results.
