This maze will give your children an imaginary opportunity to help Mary and Joseph find Jesus, who, as a 12-year-old, was missing following the Passover festival.

When Jesus was 12, He and His family went to Jerusalem for the Passover festival. On the way home, Mary and Joseph noticed Jesus was missing and returned to look for Him. They found Him in the temple talking with the teachers there. The teachers were amazed. These activities are about Jesus in the temple as a boy.

I had a request for when Jesus stayed behind at the temple and Mary and Joseph were frantically looking for Him. You can find it in Luke 2:41-52. The project that I used for this lesson isn't really suited for VBS, which is when the crafts will be used. These are mostly cut and glue and can be used with a lot of age groups.
