Sarah Chitwood | Sewing with Chickens on Instagram: "Ovenmitts repurposed from worn, vintage quilts will be available on my website Saturday, January 27th at 5pm est time. I will have vintage quilt hearts available as well. Please know that the quilts used to make these ovenmitts were true cutter quilts, and these ovenmitts contain MANY stains and worn areas. It's authentic, vintage character, but the look may not be for everyone. Having said that, my ovenmitts are made to be USED. They have a layer of heat resistant material inside and can 100% be used for their intended function. Because of the worn areas, I recommend hand/spot washing and air drying your ovenmitt. I will only have 13 available. It is just me sewing up these creations. There will be 20 hearts.
