it really is crazy how quickly people were willing to just let chatgpt do everything for them. i have never even tried it. brother i don’t even know if it’s just a website you go to or what. i do not know where chatgpt actually lives, because i can decide my own grocery list.
Talking with writers online
Their stories: Amazing grammar, soaring vocabulary, beautiful imagery and prose which flows like a river.
In chats: no capitalisation or punctuation, swears like a sailor, misspellings everywhere, acronyms and abbreviations every five words, idek
#listen #listen do u know how much braining it takes to make the words go? #it is a lot #it’s like wearing fancy clothes all day #and then when you’re at home and comfy #u just put on ur pj’s ( @feynites)
I have never related to a statement more than “do you know how much braining it takes to make words go?”
still amazed that like. 7 years later. this post is still going. it gets like 5-12 notes a day
it’s a heritage post, is what it is.

hi, a lot of you need a perspective reset
- the average human lifespan globally is 70+ years
- taking the threshold of adulthood as 18, you are likely to spend at least 52 years as a fully grown adult
- at the age of 30 you have lived less than one quarter of your adult life (12/52 years)
- ‘middle age’ is typically considered to be between 45-65
- it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age
- it’s wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.
- you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.
- young doesn’t mean peaked. you’re inexperienced in your 20s! you’re still learning and practicing! you’re developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!
- there are a million things to do in the world, and they don’t vanish overnight because an imaginary number gets too big
I’m finishing my first novel at 40yo… It’s still in the wee beginning stages of editing… Only the gods know when it’ll be ready for public consumption …
It’s never too late, don’t give up on your dreams!!

Re-blog this if:
- you’re gay
- can read
- support gay people
- want to hold a match between your fingers as you wander the halls of an ancient castle because it’s your only source of light amidst the ghosts of people long past
- are an antelope
- or want a chocolate bar.No one will know which applies.
