Christmas decoration ceramic

Gorgeous ceramic Christmas tree table decoration made from beautiful Australian porcelain clay. The original model was sculpted by hand from which a plaster mould has been made to allow us to reproduce these gorgeous trees. Each piece is then created using a technique called slipcasting, where liquid clay is poured into the plaster mould, left to set for the desired thickness and the excess slip poured out. I crafted these luminary trees and carved them by hand. The star pattern shows up beautifully when lit. The star on top gives these rustic trees an elegant look and will enhance just about any holiday decor. I used a high quality, very durable brown speckled stoneward clay and high fire glazes on them for lasting beauty. The glazes I used are semi-transparent to show off the speckled clay.
