Colouring on black paper

Do metallic colored pencils show up better on black paper or white paper? What about layering them over white watercolor or watercolor pencils?

Here's a neat way to add spots of color to black paper using colored pencils. It's fast. It's easy. It's fun and you already have everything you need!
