When I look back at all my family photo albums, there is not a single image I find with my grandparents. There are images with mom, dad, my brother... even with my dog and a stray cat whom we had adopted... but seriously none with my grandpa and grandma. And those were the two people I loved the most... I still do, even after they are long gone.

Last week I had to privilege of photographing one of my favorite families. The head of this family is Momma Dobbs. This dear woman was the praying force behind me in my teenage years. Every time her daughter and I would walk out the door to go out she would pray for protection over us. She is a prayer warrior! This past Sunday I got to spend some time with the lovely Joan and her family as they anxiously awaited their yummy turkey dinner.
