They do all require light yes, like all houseplants do BUT they will bounce back faster if you forget about them or give them too much love. Something like a pony tail palm and its caudex (stump) stores water which will require you to water less often. A pothos and heart leaf philodendron are beautiful trailing plants that does great propagating in water. They can grow long and luscious in no time.
