This moon phase board was fairly easy to make. Earth science project. Lunar phases. This was my son's 6th grade project (before labeling). We used a black foam board, he painted the various size styrofoam balls (purchased from Walmart). Paint used was spray paint and acrylic paints. The sun's light was a flashlight inserted from the back (we hallowed out the center just big enough to push the flashlight in and almost to the front, but about an inch short and it illuminated the sun ball. Sun, Earth, and moons are attached with hot glue.
