Read the children's book: Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes. It will make you cry. Asian Themed Party, Chinese Theme Parties, Japanese Theme Parties, Asian Party Themes, Japan Party, Chinese Party, Japanese Party, Asian Party, Japanese Birthday

Paul and I held our engagement party recently. It was in an Asian theme and decorated with paper lanterns, fairy lights, 999 paper cranes (well nearly?! we didn't quite make enough), lion dancing and much much more. It was such an awesome night. I'd been folding these cranes for months prior and ended up getting friends and family to help me try and get to 999. In Chinese it was lucky to have 999. In Japan, it is 1001. I thought it would be easy, but it took forever!
