Large botanical bowl that was made from white speckled stoneware. This is one of a kind handmade piece that I formed by hand and painted leaves and sprouts by using green underglaze. On the inside I used green colored porcelain to paint one branch in the center. Covered with clear glaze and fired to 1220 degrees Celsius. The bottom of this bowl has no foot ring, it`s flat and was left unglazed. Jennifer Spring on Instagram: "This was the last batch of work before moving into glazing, and it was the first time I’ve done this design on a large planter so I can’t wait to see it finished! I have so much new work to share over the next couple weeks leading up to my final release of the year. I’m very happy with the work I’ve created for this release and I’m crossing my fingers all goes well with glaze firing over the next week.
