14 is Mirage by HarumakiGohan! A song that actually inspired these three Devo illustrations from July too LOL

Had to go with Argo for this one! What being exposed to the hell dimension will do to a guy </3

ID: A digital illustration of Argonaut Keene from The Adventure Zone Graduation seen from the waist up, looking over his shoulder at the viewer. Argo is young water genasi with large webbed ears and long hair tied into a ponytail that resembles flowing water in appearance. He has a handlebar moustache and green eyes and is wearing a loose shirt with ruffled sleeves. He is resting his hands against an ornate rapier, and is expression is one of almost shock. Argo is coloured a solid blue, with red highlights accentuating his frame. He is standing in front of what appears to be a mirror, with red lighting cast across the glass. His reflection is merely a dark silhouette, with only a green eye and a sinister smile visible on its face. There is text scrolling down the image behind that reads ‘all this time you were playing with my mirage.’ End IDALT

(for this spotify wrapped drawing game! not taking anymore atm ! <3)

I can appreciate a man who's normal but I LOVE a man who's comparatively normal. A man who seems like a mess in a vacuum but as soon as you compare them to their friend circle you're like "oh. Oh wow. You're their idea of sensible."

Once upon a time there was a girl whose wicked stepmother forced her to clean the entire house for Pesach all by herself. So while her stepmother and stepsisters left early for the grand seder at the Prince's palace, the girl spent the afternoon sweeping and dusting and washing and polishing. As she finally burned the last crumbs of chametz in the fireplace, she saw the sun setting and knew she would never make it to the Prince's seder on time, so she began to prepare her own meager dinner: a little Passover pizza. But miraculously, her fairy godmother appeared and transformed the pizza into a flying carpet to take her to the palace, and the cheese into a beautiful dress for her to wear. And to commemorate this story, to this very day, that cheese is named after that girl: they called her Matzah-rella.

anyway inspired by Griffin accidentally calling Beef Punchley “Magnus”, I’ve been thinking a lot about how the more we learn about Beef the more we come to understand that he and Magnus are actually very very different once you prod under the surface.

Sure they’re both beefcakes with a heart of gold but I urge you to consider: where Magnus is reckless and foolhearty, Beef is careful and calculated. Magnus wears his heart on his sleeve but Beef keeps his secrets close to his chest. Magnus uses his physical strength in combat but Beef, despite possessing similar physical strength, relies mostly on his wit. Magnus rushes in, but Beef hangs back until everything is in place. Beef is always thinking multiple steps ahead.

The only time he’s reckless is seemingly when it comes to other people. Ep. 23 is a great example - Beef has essentially manipulated James DeBarge into being right where he wants him, but then he feels bad because, as it turns out, he genuinely likes James. So he informs him of the entire plan, risking the entire operation being blown, just because he wants to do the right thing.

So I guess there’s still a little seed of Magnus in there - he does good recklessly.

The thing about Steeplechase is that Montrose fits a very specific character archetype to me; middle aged guy who's kinda sleezy and either runs a used car dealership or sells vacuums door-to-door, not expensive clothes but still very put-together, all neat button-ups and slacks and suspenders and coifed hair, decently fit but NOT skinny, etc. Like the moment Griffin settled on his voice and personality, that image was imprinted in my head because it fits perfectly with those kinds of characters on tv and in movies.

And apparently I am the absolute only person to see him that way because fan art leans towards him being a scrawny young guy wearing leather and the disconnect between that and my internal image of him is absurd.
