I just discovered this and ugh. At the speed of the internet, indeed. This man couldnāt wait long enough, for people to send him photos of them reading in a bathtub. On that blog thereās photos of what looks in all effects, minors. Who thought this was a good idea? A 50 years old man reblogging photos of fans in bathtubs, almost all of them young women. The more I learn of this man, the more disgusted I become. Apparently a fan took the initiative: I wonder if it was actually a fan.
I donāt feel comfortable putting the direct link to that blog, but itās still visible, Iām not inventing anything. Neil Gaiman was definitely monitoring the blog, because he reblogged and put a like on some of the most āexplicitā ones.

As I said, a 50 years old man was actively liking and reblogging photos of his young female fans, naked in bathtubs. Some of them look way too young for comfort, thatās why I censored them: even if it makes little sense since theyāre still on that blog, it still felt right.
As of February 2024, no one still saw it as weird, included Neil āSimpler Timesā Gaiman. Itās been under our noses this whole time.
nowhere on the blog does it say you have to be an adult to submit photos either. not that iād trust the student (how old?) running this to reliably verify the age of the submissions they were getting anyway, but stillā¦ how did gaiman not see an obvious problem here?
like itās incredibly creepy to be soliciting nudes from his fans regardless of their age ā and that is what heās doing here, even if it is technically happening through a third party ā but the fact that there isnāt even a mild āno minorsā disclaimer on the blog heās plugging, and that gaiman, a man then in his 50s, still chose to emphasize that itās totally okay for fans to submit pictures of themselves naked?
Ah yes well you see Stephen Colbert used to play a parody of a Fox News pundit on a show called The Colbert Report (American news satire program popular in the late 00s/early 10s). The character was explicitly a closeted gay man who was driven to conservatism due to his own insecurity/internalized homophobia. He had a homoerotic relationship with Jon Stewart whom he pretended to hate but had several romantic moments with.
When their shows ended they wrote a soft epilogue for their fictionalized selves where they retire to a cabin in the woods together and itās implied theyāre married now. The most beautiful self-written rpf of all time.

instead of blaming leftists and palestinians for voting third party, you should be blaming the democrats for running a trash campaign. a campaign based in genocide, ethnic cleansing, cracking down on the border, children in cages, endless war with russia, endless war in korea, endless war in SWANA, the promise of war with china, refusing to actually defend (let alone protect) trans and queer people, and the list goes on. the democratic party is actively contributing to the rise of fascism in the united states, and they have been for 50 years.
Not only that, she’s losing by 5 million so far… with a drop of 15 million votes from what Biden got in 2020. And Trump is also behind last election, though not by much. So basically:
1) Right wing positions didn’t really get much more popular (in fact many red states have passed things like abortion rights locally this election)
2) Despite this, the democrats loudly insisted becoming more right wing was the only way to win an election
3) This persuaded effectively no one in the GOP to switch sides
4) They lost almost 20% of their own base
Yeah, It’s not that the USA got that much more right-wing, its that the Democrats actively choosing to position themselves as Centrist Republicans made their base stay home and not vote at all.
