Notes Following the Battle of Monte Cassino, en route to Faenza, Cpl. Gregan's unit stopped overnight at a large mansion whose owner claimed to be a supporter of the Allied forces. However, Pte Gregan found and subsequently souvenired this fascist hat from a cupboard in the room he had slept in.
