| Description | An intentionally ultra-simplified and un-detailed map of the main areas of the world of Narnia, according to the descriptions in C.S. Lewis' series of books. There is no attempt to use geographically realistic shapes (e.g. indented coastlines, meandering rivers, etc.). Instead, the basic continental coastline, major rivers, mountain ranges, and certain major climate-terrain zones are all depicted using only very simple geometric shapes (straight lines, circular arcs, etc.). Note that the text "Telmar" is actually placed on the area of the Western Wilds of Narnia; Telmar is off the map to the west. Calormen also extends considerably to the south and west of the map frame, and overall is quite a bit larger than Narnia proper. (The capital Tashbaan is at the northeastern corner of Calormen because Calormen was originally settled from Narnia/Archenland along the coast.) |

Own work -- This image was made from scratch by User:AnonMoos, mainly based on the verbal descriptions of geography given in Lewis' books, and does not derive from any previous existing image.
