English: Mike Allan Hammah was born on the 28th of August, 1955 in Winneba (Central Region, Ghana). He is an Alumni of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi and of the Central University College and was the elected representative of the Effutu constituency of the Central Region in the Parliament of Ghana during the legislative periods 1996-2000 and 2000-2004 as representative of the Ghanaian National Democratic Congress (NDC). From July 2007 to January 2009 he was the "Deputy Minister for Roads and Transports in charge of Railways, Aviation, and Maritime" in the second government of President Kufuor. From February 2009 to January 2011 he was the "Minister for Lands and Natural Resources" as well as from February 2011 - February 2012 "Minister of Transport" in the government of President Atta-Mills.
