English: Tell Leilan is a large archaeological site along the Wadi Jarrah (northeast Syria) that was occupied from the fifth to second millennium BC. It was known as Shekhna during the late third millennium, and as Shubat-Enlil during the early second millennium BC.
Nederlands: Tell Leilan is een belangrijke archeologische vindplaats gelegen aan de Wadi Jarrah (noordoost-Syrië). De site was bewoond tussen het vijfde en tweede millennium voor Christus. Gedurende het late derde millennium werd Leilan Shekhna genoemd en gedurende het vroege tweede millennium heette de site Shubat-Enlil.
