Description
English: World map on a Mercator projection at a scale of 1:35,000,000 at the Equator. The bathymetry data shown on the map is based upon the GEBCO One Minute Grid, a global bathymetric grid with one arc-minute spacing, as contained within the Centenary Edition of the GEBCO Digital Atlas (published in 2003). The land imagery is taken from the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Blue Marble data set. The coastline is taken from the World Vector Shoreline.
