Lucas Debes (1623-1675) from Stubbekøbing, Storstrøms amt, Denmark was a Danish priest and rebel in the Faroe Islands. He wrote the first book about the Faroes, which was printed (and translated into English and German) and draw the first detailed map of the islands.
