- creation of derivative works

See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.
Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions. And also:

Copyright violations
[edit]
Hello Heeheemalu.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |

Hey, I noticed your edits adding Category:Skylines in Kaohsiung to File:Kaohsiung night landscape.jpg. It does not meet the definition of en:Skyline. Looks like you have a misunderstanding about "Skyline". If you can't distinguish what is a skyline, then look at these two images:
Did you find anything about the differences between two images?--Kai3952 (talk) 05:08, 4 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Heeheemalu: Can you reply me quickly?--Kai3952 (talk) 05:21, 5 August 2019 (UTC)

- I'm confused when I saw you added the "Skylines in Kaohsiung" category here. Please notice this image itself it actually irrelevant with the "Skylines" category. What is clear in the comparison of those two images above is that the right one shows "Skyline". I know that my English isn't so good, but I think it is enough for you to understand what is a skyline. If you can't distinguish between cityscape and skyline, then it was your own problem and wasn't my problem.--Kai3952 (talk) 18:12, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

- @Kai3952: As per my comment below, any picture of buildings against a sky can be classified as a "skyline". So, there is nothing wrong with this picture being classified as a one.

I have clearly explained on the talk page why cityscape is not a skyline. Please stop abusing the "Skylines" category.--Kai3952 (talk) 12:15, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
- @Kai3952: I'm not abusing the skylines category. If you check the definition of "skyline" on Cambridge Dictionary, it says: "a shape or pattern made against the sky, especially by buildings"; the Wikipedia page defines skyline as: "A skyline is the horizon created by a city's overall structure, or by human intervention in a non-urban setting or in nature". So, there is no clear distinction between a cityscape and skyline and there are often grey areas that are subjective to opinions, as long as there is a clear view of the sky in the picture, it should be counted. The only non-debatable point is that an aerial photo can't be a skyline as the angle is too high to show buildings against a sky. The definition is not as specific as you made it, so it seems like you are the one that is confused about the definition. Please do not impose your self-assumed definition on others without first checking its validity. If you look at other subcategories in the skyline group, there are also more variety in terms of the angle, etc. It seems like you are only focusing on the Skylines in Taiwan categories and keeps changing other people's edits - this is disruptive editing and harassment and shows disrespect for other users' opinions. If you continue this harassment, I will report you to COM:AN/U and ask for you to be blocked again. It seems like you haven't actually self-reflected from your block as you seem to be still continuing your "unique" way of understanding, just in a different situation and to different people. Heeheemalu

Flickr2Commons
[edit]I have just come across a few images you have recently uploaded from Flickr. I would appreciate it if in the future, you used the Flickr2Commons tool. This tool allows images to be moved to Commons from Flickr without having to download the images to your own computer. It also brings in the largest resolution of the image, as well making sure to list the correct license and url, making it easy for the automated Flickr Review system. Also, it is fairly easy to categorize images with this tool. To use it, you just need to go to the url and authorize it (where it says "authorise first").--A1Cafel (talk) 06:24, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
You added the "20XX in Taichung" categories for photos
[edit]I noticed that when the photos were uploaded, you added the "20XX in Taichung" categories for them. I think it would be better if they were placed in a more precise category because they might actually end up being placed in Category:20XX photographs of Taichung.--Kai3952 (talk) 03:08, 26 February 2022 (UTC)
Remote view
[edit]Some of your edits seem to be based on a misunderstanding of English. For example, you added Category:Remote views of Taipei 101 to File:2020 Taipei night skyline (49738342922).jpg. "Remote view" means that you saw something far away. If you look close, it's actually that you are so close to those buildings.--Kai3952 (talk) 10:08, 10 March 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Taichung Commercial Bank Headquarters 台中之鑽.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Taichung Commercial Bank Headquarters 台中之鑽.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

File:Facebook Office in Taipei 20190410.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

File tagging File:Taipei Twin Towers.jpg
[edit]This media was probably deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading File:Taipei Twin Towers.jpg.
Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Taipei Twin Towers.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

Scenic overlooks
