Parliament Images Deleted

Hi Yann,

I uploaded a handful of images taken and uploaded by the UK Parliament, and you have removed them and placed a block warning on me. I uploaded these images based on the notion that images published by the UK Parliament were acceptable, with a multitude of other examples existing on Wikipedia Commons. Below are some of those instances which I based it on.

Among many others.

So if you can inform me why my images, uploaded from the same source, using the same copyright information (To my knowledge, maybe I did the wrong Creative Commons 3.0? If that is the case, a correction would have been better over an outright deletion and block warning) are any different from the aforementioned images, I would greatly appreciate it. Wheel warring on File:Flag of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.svg

I had undeleted File:Flag of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.svg to allow it to be transferred to enwiki as a non-free file. That had not been done yet, and yet you re-deleted it 8 hours after I undeleted it instead of the customary 2 days provided for transfers of non-free files. I see that it is also currently under discussion at Commons:Undeletion requests/Current requests#File:Flag of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham.svg, which makes wheel warring to re-delete it more inappropriate. Trying to upload recent documents although I don't remember how to do so

I'm wanting to upload a few documents which had recently come up during the last 2 years (between January 2023 and November 2024) but don't really remember how to to so. It's been quite long since I uploaded documents here on the Wikimedia Commons. Could you or somebody here please help me remember these upload processes on the WC? fichier emis par l'armée de l'Ukraine

Bonsoir Yann Pour mes contributions sur le Wikipédia français, je me focalise plus particulièrement sur les insignes des unité militaires ukrainiennes, ainsi que sur les illustrations des articles. Avant de modifier un article sur le wikipedia français, je vérifie que l'insigne de l'unité (que je trouve souvent sur le wikipedia ukrainien) est bien l'insigne officielle (et pas l'insigne de fantaisie que certains militaire arborent), et ensuite, je met à jour le sujet sur le wikipedia français, je fait la même chose pour les drapeaux de motivation, les drapeaux d'honneur et les drapeaux de batailles des unité ukrainienne quand ils sont connus. Et 9 fois sur 10, je m'aperçois que l'auteur de l'insigne (ou du drapeau), qui devrais être {{PD-UAexMilitary}} ou le nom du concepteur quand il est connu, suivi du template {{PD-UAexMilitary}} est en fait souvent {{Own}} ou encore le nom de la personne qui à diffusé l'insigne sur les réseaux sociaux. Il n'y a pas péril en la demeure, puisque ces médias sont dans le domaine public. Simplement une erreur d'attribution facilement corrigeable. Récemment, j'ai corrigé un media importé sur Commons par un ami du projet guerre russo-ukrainienne sur le wiki français, et je l'ai vexé, bien sûr, je lui ai expliqué que "author" ne désignais pas l'auteur de l'import mais l'auteur officiel du media, et nous ne nous sommes pas fâché, au contraire. Mais comment faire pour ne pas vexer un utilisateur que je ne connais pas, dont je ne parle pas la langue, qui souvent ne parle pas anglais ni français, et qui, de toute façon, n'a pas voulu "voler" les droits d'auteur d'un media du domaine public ? C'est pareil pour les photo prises par les militaires quand elle ont un filigrane de l'unité, ou qu'elles ont été postées sur la page officielle de l'unité (celle indiquée sur le site https://www.zsu.gov.ua/) puisqu'elle doit avoir d'abord été uploadé sur le site de l'armée ukrainienne pour approbation et pose du filigrane, avant d'être publié (ce n'est pas le cas des photos des comptes personnels des soldats, qui peuvent leur appartenir) les photos elle sont {{CC BY 4.0}}. De plus, pour ajouter à la confusion, ces photos sont quelquefois diffusées par des médias, voire des agences de presse sous copyright. Merci de m'aider. Par exemple ce fichier : . Sinon, demandez de l'aide sur COM:VP. Il est probable que vous trouverez quelqu'un pour vous aider. Enfin, il est possible qu'il y ait deux droits pour ces images : le droit du design d'origine, et le droit de la version importée sur Commons.
