edit 10/2023: I have learned that Tumblr’s signup process now forces new users to follow accounts prior to allowing them access to customize their own blogs. That’s pretty shitty of them, but unfortunately if you look like a bot I will still block you. It’s likely that new users will probably get blocked by lots of people due to Tumblr’s decision on this front :( so hopefully they reverse it.
