i do think there should be more stories and shows and stuff about guys falling in love with butch women actually, i think that’d be a good thing. and not ‘this is as butch as twitter can handle’, i mean butch as can fucking be without apology, and making those boys weak in the knees about it. i think it’s great actually to have f/m romances that exist to break gender norms, too. i think it sucks that the only mainstream het romances that exist are either about women who are already feminine or with women who are just a little too scarily masculine and have to be fixed into being girlier. that’s shit.

it’s not like. taking away from queer people if you let “the straights” have some genderfuckery in their romance, too. that’s good, actually, the blurring of gender roles and performance and getting better understandings of your own sexuality is good for everyone. and it’s really fucking weird if you think that mainstream “het” romances shouldn’t feature women who are “too masculine” because that’s only allowed for queer people, somehow.

"it saves me time writing stuff" it saves me time knowing you dont give a shit enough to just write something simple. if you didn't care enough to write it, why should i be interested in reading it?

"i just have it write something then i edit it to make it right" the meat of your content is couched in AI garbage. why'd you use it to fluff your information? i'd rather read something barebones that gets to the point if it's accurate than something that ChatGPT churns out

i wrote all this with informative/communicative writing in mind. i.e. chat, emails, documentation. if you use it for creative writing you might be hopeless

at my last job someone used it to generate documentation for best practices around some code architecture we were following. i read it. none of it made sense for what we were doing because it had no context. it was relying on definitions of things that were different than what we were doing so it was flat-out wrong

so i says to the guy i says, "hey this is all wrong, here's why" and explain how none of what ChatGPT gave us is pertinent to our work. and he goes "well whatever we can use this as a starting point."

and i couldnt understand how you could use information that is 98% wrong as a starting point. it's like needing a recipe for bread and chatgpt gives you a muffin recipe. so there's flour and salt, that's where the similarities stop.

anyways he finally got the point and someone else ended up writing the document. but thats what i mean by pod people shit. dont look me in the eye and tell me something like this is helpful.
