Back to regular programming lol. (still, you can try québécois music, you know :) )
This month, I'm focussing on my favourite countertenor, madame ~Selia~ ♥
As usual :
Song titles link to individual mp3 file download
All 6 songs can also be downloaded together in a zip file from the link at the bottom
Ok, here we go~
I had originally chosen Mr Darkness & Mrs Moonlight to go on here, but I think Revolver does Selia more justice.
Revolver is the closing track of 天使のリボルバー(tenshi no REVOLVER), released in 2007
While Ken doesn't sound as confortable in japanese as he is in english, I think the layering of his voice with Selia's is absolutely gorgeous T^T ♥
Angelus is on the Iudicium maxi-single released in 2009
The culmination of this song gives. me. CHILLS. Looks it's Hizaki composing for Kaya with chorus from Selia, and it's *muah* chef's kiss !!!
Curse of Rose was the B-side of Vampire Requiem (also with that same line-up ♥), released in 2012.
It's a shame that Seileen doesn't record often, but I guess it's expensive to comission a nearly whole album from Kalm every time 🤔 (im kinda joking but like its funny to me that i cant seem to easily find proofs of this online cause litteraly it's written in the cd case lol)
Kinjirareta asobi is the title track of the album, released in 2009.
Aaaaay look a spare mp3 that i have a hard time finding a source for :D (actually, im shocked this hasn't happened before) I'm pretty sure the DJ Hooligan that shows up in the search is not the one featured on this (for one i'm also pretty sure he's japanese lol, but my memory fails)
I don't know where this song comes from, probably from a compilation, sometime in the 00's lol.
And i'm gonna go with a bonus :
It's funny cause i had been listening to some auto-mod, lately, but I guess they were mostly older releases, cause I had no idea Selia was now part of the band until i saw her band history on vk.gy earlier today lol.
Miss you comes from the Celebration album, released in 2010
youtube was giving me shit, for a change...
Anyway, yeah, if you ever end up goth night clubbing in Tokyo, chances are you're gonna come accross Selia and a lot of friends featured here, actually :3
Get all this zipped up
“Lemme tell ya, ‘Star Wars’ always had the vibe of being in the most whitest, elite space. It’s a franchise that’s so white that a Black person existing in [it] was something,” Boyega said in the documentary. “You can always tell it’s something when some ‘Star Wars’ fans try to say, ‘Well, we had Lando Calrissian and had Samuel L. Jackson!’ It’s like telling me how many cookie chips are in the cookie dough. It’s like, they just scattered that in there, bro!”
“If you watched her bounce on my strap you would think twice about calling pillow princesses lazy” okay but do you still want the pillow princess if they’re too unable to move? Or do you only want pillow princesses if they’re able bodied?
Like okay, I personally can’t move when I’m having sex. I maintain stability in my joints and body through tension in my pelvis — when I loosen up my pelvic floor to receive penetration, my body loses all stability and I basically go limp.
In my case, my partners gain enjoyment from watching my back arch, or seeing my eyes roll back, or watching me (feebly) reach to caress their cheek. They can hear me moan and whine and whimper (and scream, if they fuck me good enough). I stim by wiggling my body when I’m happy, so they can feel my hips shake when they praise me. Or they can feel my legs tremble, because my nerves do not connect properly to my muscles and that gives me tremors.
My point is that disability can be inherently erotic, without being fetishizing. Just like how an able bodied pillow princess can still give pleasure without touching you, disabled pillow princesses can give pleasure without moving.
the suspender skirt is here and you can get one too!! as a small slow fashion brand that prioritizes size inclusivity and ethical labor, it would mean the world to me if you could share this with someone in your life that you think would like this skirt. thank you!!
store.mayakern.com / mayakern.ca
unfortunately unless the business is in active crisis, people are much more likely to share and interact with a post without a clickable link and i would really like to be able to pay my bills without having to undergo that level of emotional turmoil every month. 🥲
i do also make many posts with clickable links but the fact that yall don’t see them kind of proves my point 😅
anyway i’m glad you like the suspender skirt and if the fawn color does well this time we’ll consider doing other colors in the future!
preorders end in just a couple days!!
My birthday is coming up (April 9) and I am struggling. Things in my life have recently became more hectic and I am dealing with chronic pain and POTS. If you could donate or reblog this post that would greatly be appreciated. Things suck right now and I don't know what else I can do. Please help me out <3

WHAT IF
i changed my name to Corvidae
#i used to go by trucydae mostly online
#and i still like the sonority of my bs latin lol
#crow is cool but clearly anglo and i live in a franco place
#corvidae pronounces the same-ish in both french and english
#and i figure that crow can be short for corvidae lol
#it also pronounces similarly to 'corps vidé' in french and yeah i feel tired enough that my body feels empty at times lol
plus im think Crow can be used as short for Corvidae so like everyone wins imo (well mostly me, i win)
you see, i also like Corneille, but 1. that is difficult for anglos to pronounce correctly and my two favourite ppl are american, so hmm, and 2. here Corneille also is the name of a singer and, based on previous experiences, ppl will insinuate i named myself after him, and like… no.
"pasta only fills you up with empty calories" have you considered that it also fills me with love
love and warmth and happiness and most importantly pasta
pasta rant. pasta fills you with strength and diet culture is based in junk science
I did sports in college and the day before every tournament we'd go to Olive garden and eat as much pasta as possible. carb loading.
and literally every year the freshmen were like "you want us to eat carbs? Bc this was peak diet culture days. And yeah bc carbs make you strong the next day. You can do high intensity anerobic exercise for a long ass time after eating carbs. it was like having pasta superpowers
We'd be bringing sugary drinks to competition to keep up the energy and getting burgers and milkshakes after to recover. And all that was healthy af
You need protein to repair damaged muscles, and fats to break down vitamins and give you energy so anything that tells you any of the macros are bad for you? It's eating disorder shit, macros are literally the 3 nutrients your body needs in large quantities to survive. and sugar? That's the shit you need when you need energy Right Now.
One of the most horrifying conversations that I've ever heard, was when my (then under ten) niece and nephew told my mum that pasta, potatoes and rice were all unhealthy foods and that she shouldn't be making them dinner with them. Because they were Bad For You.
Apparently the school they were in at the time had told them All About The Evils Of Carbs. And how they should be avoiding them all.
Carb loading has it's place definitely (I used to do it a lot pre-days where I knew I was going to be doing it a lot of heavy lifting for work). But honestly so does just eating carbs.
But we really need to get people to stop saying terrifying things like "pasta only fills you up with empty calories"
Because OP is right, it fills you with love and warmth (and most importantly pasta).
But it also fills you with energy. And, if you are still growing, it fuels your growth.
In addition, potatoes, rice, and pasta all provide resistant starch, which is produced by cooking and then cooling starches. Resistant starch is important for feeding the good bugs in your gut, which produce metabolites that help heal the gut, among other things. ✨
Additionally, why are they bad for you? If you think this, can you quantify why? Or did someone tell you and you internalised it with no further investigation?
Unless you are allergic, all food is good food.
Should you eat a diet of 100% starbursts? No, of course not. But a healthy diet can absolutely include them every day.
You organs use a lot of energy to take care of you, make sure you give them that energy.
If you ate a diet of 100% carrots, you would develop an orange tint. This does not mean carrots are bad for you.
