The reviews on InZoi, especially by major gaming websites are making me giggle.
A lot of us have been playing The Sims since chunky white computers turned yellow (Compaq anyone?), and we know how great the franchise used to be.
But, have any of these people (“reviewers”) played The Sims 4 for the past decade? Like, really. We’re ten years in and The Sims 4 is still boring as hell, try playing it without mods and tell me I’m lying.
Sure, InZoi is far from perfect, it took me far too long to build a decent looking roof; but, to paraphrase one reviewer where they said InZoi was a soulless imitation of The Sims 4 is hilarious, what soul are they talking about?
I can say I have played the sims 4 without (gameplay) mods and it is very fun; however that required me to have access to all of the packs (except that star wars one), that is the only downside to enjoy the game you have to pay alot of money over the years.
I haven’t touched inzoi mostly due their generative AI system, I need more openness on how that works and if their system only is in house or are they stealing works from other artist. And never mind the environmental side of generative AI
I frequently use @javitrulovesims’s body hairs (originally by @luumia) and wanted them as default overrides. I edited the textures further, picked some favorites, and here we are!
Two sets of body hair default replacements for arms, legs, chest, and back in either straight OR curly textures. There are 2 add-on packages with arm pit & pubic hair as well (found in body scars).
