Lisans programında, doğrudan düşünme becerilerine odaklanan zorunlu bir ders olmadığı, sadece meslek bilgisi seçmeli bir derse programda yer verildiği, lisansüstü programlarda ise düşünme becerilerine odaklanan ders sayısının yetersiz olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Bu bağlamda çalışma sonucunda incelenen programlarda eleştirel düşünme başta olmak üzere düşünme becerilerinin görmezden gelindiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Atatürk's understanding of nationalism was founded on the unity of culture. It rejects racism. It emphasizes cultural unity rather than blood ties or religious unity. However, various forms of nationalism in Turkey can find supporters. For this reason, it is important to examine how secondary school students understand nationalism and with which concepts they explain it. Qualitative research method was used in this research, which aims to examine how students conceptualize and understand nationalism. This study aims to reveal the opinions of the senior students of education faculty about the anxi... more This study aims to reveal the opinions of the senior students of education faculty about the anxiety of not being appointed. Phenomenological research design is used in this research. The convenience sampling method was used in the selection of the participants. The data of the study is collected through face-to-face individual interviews with the students. The research form consists of 2 parts. The questions in the first part are about the demographic information of the participants. The second part includes questions aiming to reveal the experiences of the participants regarding the anxiety of not being appointed. Each interview lasted 20 minutes on average. All interviews conducted within the scope of the research were recorded using a voice recorder with the permission of the participants. Descriptive analysis was used in the analysis of data. The purpose of this study is to uncover the views of the instructors regarding the regulation on ... more The purpose of this study is to uncover the views of the instructors regarding the regulation on the Academic Incentive Allowance (AIA) applied in Turkey, to understand its reflection on the quality of the scientific products and to determine whether the findings to be obtained are generalizable. In the qualitative phase of the research conducted according to the mixed method paradigm, exploratory sequential mixed method design, three themes were obtained as potentials, problems and suggestions; and the qualitative findings were found to be generalizable. Despite the uncertainties and the new problems brought about by the AIA, it was found that positive results may be obtained and that the teaching staff has a positive attitude towards the application. However, it was also found that it leads to concerns about unethical publications and about focusing on the quantity rather than the quality.
