See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna
Panel 1: Square comic panel. A humanoid figure positioned in the panel's far left is throwing a baseball with his right arm. This figure, Strikeout, is clad in an open baseball jersey with the number zero printed on his undershirt, partially obscured by his pitching arm. His fingers are blocky, he is a being of living rock. His head is slightly turned downward. He wears a domino mask with an intense expression. In place of hair, Strikeout has head-spikes like a lizard. They are arranged haphazardly on his rounded head. Speech bubble: "Try a fastball, old timer." The baseball Strikeout is pitching soars toward the right side of the panel, lines have been drawn around it to denote very fast speed.ALT
Panel 2: Square A second figure is introduced, Doc Hickory. Doc Hickory is a short, older man, with a Hungarian style (connected in the center, no handlebar curl but a slight up-turn at the ends) mustache and stringy hair curled up like a nobleman. He sports a monocle on his left eye with a long chain. He wears a dashing sport-coat with fur lining on the lapels, and a necktie. Speech bubble: "Doc Hickory turns back the hands." In his bony hands he holds a clock roughly the size of his head. While one hand holds the clock from below, his fingers resting just the the left of the six, his other hand is positioned more to the right of the panel. From this hand, he extends a finger to reach the clock's minute hand. The time on the clock is roughly 12:45, but it will soon be earlier.ALT
Panel 3: vertical rectangle Strikeout stands dumbfounded with his arms at his sides. We can see now that his forearm his much larger than his bicep. His mouth is no longer visible in this panel, but the zero on his chest is completely visible. The baseball he previously threw is now suspended in front of him with a strange wavy energy field around it.ALT
Panel 4: vertical rectangle Closeup on Strikeout's face, with an expression that says "this might as well happen" Speech bubble: "Aw shi--" The text is cutoff and goes immediately into the next panel.ALT
Panel 5: vertical rectangle Where Strikeout's face once stood is now a baseball with spiky action lines emanating out from its point of impact. Sound effect: "WHAM"ALT
Panels 3-5 arranged in one image from left to right.ALT
Panel 6: Horizontal rectangle Strikeout sits on the panel's left side. His eyes are small white circles like in panel three. Blood is running down both nostrils over his open mouth, while rings circle the top of his head. Instead of the typical birds that float around these rings in Looney Tunes cartoons, Strikeout's rings have bats. Doc Hickory stands on the panel's right side. He has raised the clock to his face and is kissing it gently with closed eyes. With his other arm out of the way, we can see his coat has a left breast pocket, with a handkerchief overflowing from it. We can also see his pants, which have a vertical stripe pattern. Narration text: "UH OH! Did Strikeout strike out? Find out next month!"ALT
The whole comic, panels 1-6. The first two panels are squares that take up half the page each. The second row of panels are all vertical rectangles. And the final panel is big enough to take up its own row. Thanks for reading!ALT

Hi all! I’m finally getting my (relatively) recent art onto here! I’m not the biggest fan of posting on Instagram so there’s going to be a lot of overlap until I eventually start just posting art on my tumblr probably. At any rate I’m starting with the little mini comics I’ve made! This is the first ever Strikeout comic I made a couple years back.

Strikeout is a superhero of mine that exists in the science fantasy universe I’ve been worldbuilding since hs. He’s a relatively new addition and his backstory will be revealed in time. For now all you need to know is he’s rock-based alien baseball vigilante with a mean fastball for any ne'er-do-wells in his area! But sometimes they get the better of him, he’s still pretty green behind the headspikes.

This comic catalogues Strikeout’s first meeting with Doc Hickory! A gentleman of crime that would go on to be a consistant nuisance for our perfect pitcher.

Until next time true believers!!

This is the worst Eid I have ever experienced in my entire life. I lost all my friends in the war and I am left alone here suffering from the pain of loss. I used to go and visit my friends, but today I went to their homes and found their mothers collapsing from crying and grieving over the loss of their sons. We used to meet and go out and spend a pleasant time together, but unfortunately today I went and visited them in the cemetery and sat next to them all day crying from the intensity of my pain and regret. How difficult this feeling is for me and I cannot bear it!!! 😭

The famine has returned with force to us. Please help us by donating so that my family and I can buy some food and help us to be able to travel outside Gaza and escape this war, please!!!!😭

A vertical rectangular comic panel. Pencil lines have been sketched out a tight cavern in circular motions. They begin darkly around the edges of the page outside the panel's borders. The lines get lighter as they reach the inside of the panel. Seven hanging roots are represented by squiggly triangles sketched very lightly, as if they are at various distances from the viewer. All of this ultimately draws the eye to a small dark spot in the center of the panel.ALT
Similar panel composition to the first panel. The darkest spots here are in the top left corner outside the panel, and the empty space below the panel border. Some hanging plant roots are still visible but there are only two. Stairs are implied with light pencil strokes. This time, the pencil strokes create a curve in the pathway leading toward the panel's upper right corner.ALT
Another panel with similar composition to the previous two, though this one is far more similar to Panel 1. The darkest spots are once again a more even circle around the panel border. No hanging roots are present anymore, but straighter lines in the panel's sides imply a sturdier structure in the cave. The once again leads to a dark circle in the panel's center.ALT

This image contains the previous three panels arranged together in a horizontal line. The darkest spots outside of the panels blend together.ALT
The fourth and final panel is much more of a square, and contains much more space than the first three panels. Pencil lines once again create a circular frame that extends beyond the panel borders. Four stalactites and three much smaller stalagmites are present through straight and curved lines. Two of the stalagmites are in the panel's left hand side, while the third grows out of the cave wall on the right. The stalactites are arranged in groups of two with one group on the left and the other on the right, framing the panel's central figures like teeth in a maw. Dark dashes in groups of three litter the cavern's floor, walls, and ceiling; claw marks. These are primarily present in the panel's right hand side. The panel's central figure is a ferocious giant rat with its mouth agape revealing rows of sharp teeth reminiscent of the stalactites and stalagmites in the beast's home. The two most prominent teeth are the center incisors, they easily dwarf all other crooked teeth in the rat's mouth, and are dripping saliva. The rat itself is coated in dark fur, with its nose upturned above the top of its mouth, giving it's head a triangle shape. In between the nose and mouth, on either side of the rat's head, are two glowing red eyes with no pupils. These circles of red highlighter are the only instance of color in the comic. Three of the rat's limbs are visible. From the viewer's perspective: the left foreleg is raised with claws out and pointed downward, while the right foreleg is dug into the cave floor. The left hind-leg is visible, but not shaded, to denote distance from the viewer. The right hind-leg is not visible to the viewer, nor is the tail.ALT
This image contains the full comic displayed all together. The first three panels sit above the fourth, which is as wide as the first three put together. Viewed all at once, the comic takes on the look of a beastly face. With panels one and three acting as the eyes thanks to the dark circles at their center. The stalactites in panel four resemble teeth, making the largest panel appear as an open and waiting maw, mirroring the giant rat that sits in the panel's center.ALT

“As you begin in the dungeon, these tunnels are tight, you can still see the roots of plants from the surface hanging down. You wind deeper and deeper down. The loose dirt and soft soil give way to more solid, packed earth and stone, no more roots down here.”

“Roll a check since you’re in the front.”

“Out of the darkness a shriek pierces the air as a giant rat with glowing red eyes lunges at you. It’s teeth chomp down onto your face.”

So my friend has begun dming again, and he’s work-shopping a system with us that’s like a mix of AD&D and Squire. We just did out first ever dungeon last week! I can’t believe nobody died!! Boy did we come close though!! The quotations above are based on what my dm friend was saying to set the scene and stuff. I paraphrased a little cause I don’t remember exactly word for word what he said lol, but I hope I made him sound as cool as he is.

I’ve decided I’m going to do these little mini comics for each session, because drawing what’s going on keeps me more present in the session while also giving my hands something to do when I’m not rolling. I’m delighted to share the first of these mini comics, there will be more to come! And at some point I’ll post the character, who I’ve been having a blast playing so far.
