I remember doing this project in a Jr. High art class. The results are stunning and I was so excited to share it with my class this last week. Age group: Any Supplies: White paper, crayons, black ACRYLIC paint (not the tempera-the acrylic covers better and dries faster) foam brushes, dish soap, scratch tools like toothpicks or pop cycle sticks. Add to your to do list! 🔥✨💜 Take some card and colour it in with wax crayons. Make sure you press down so there is good colour transfer. Once your card is packed with colour it’s time to add the black liquid. ✨ To make the black liquid you’re going to mix black acrylic paint with equal parts washing up liquid. Mix well and that’s it! The black solution is made! So simple! Spread generously to your card - ⚠️ make sure your surfaces are protected. ⚠️ Leave to dry. We left ours overnight. We used kebab sticks to etch our drawings in. I got the sticks for £2 for 100. They worked perfectly!
