One of the things we love about Tomomi Mimura’s (@mimstermade) mosaic embroidery animals is that they are an excellent way of using even the tiniest bits of leftover yarn! Any scrap yarn works – the ideal yarn weight depends on the scale of your work – but Tomomi’s personal favourite is a single-ply fingering-weight yarn.
