We people are a strange bunch. Cut us off in traffic and we'll lose it. Pour too much milk in our coffee and we'll tell your manager about it. But show us a picture of a neatly mowed lawn and we'll drool all over it. I don't know if we're hard or easy to please. But the subreddit r/OddlySatisfying can do it effortlessly. Welcome to San'in! This is Matsue, Shimane. Miho Shrine is a quiet little collection of traditional buildings quite literally across the street from a small bay on the Sea of Japan. Nestled at the center of a fishing village, it's no surprise that this shrine is dedicated to the god Ebisu, a jolly god known to carry a fishing rod and grant luck to Japan's fishermen. Perpendicular to the shrine is Aoishi-datami Road, a traditional little alley that looks like a scene from a historical film.
