Don't beg for anyone's attention or time. It should always be given to you willingly.

Never beg someone for their attention. When you beg people they feel powerful so they take control of your feelings.

I keep coming back to this quote. I know it doesn’t sound extremely positive, but I see it as freeing. It rings especially true now as I try to juggle things while our family has had over a month of continuous sickness + growing pains. It feels like every day a new challenge arises.
