Sotheby's on Instagram: "Diamonds are forever. Legendary vocalist Dame Shirley Bassey has amassed an equally legendary jewelry and watch collection over her 70-year career. This October, the collection will head to auction for the first time at #SothebysParis. Every jewel in the sale represents a particular moment in Dame Bassey’s life, as well as iconic performances. Fittingly, the majority of jewels feature diamonds—the gemstone synonymous with the Welsh-born British singer, ever since she first sang the famous James Bond song ‘Diamonds are Forever’ in 1971. Highlights are on view now through 29 May at #SothebysLondon. Proceeds from the sale will benefit Dame Bassey’s chosen charities. #ShirleyBassey"
