Here’s the final makeover of our garden and this time I was transforming this little random side alley,that appeared to have no real function. With some fairly simple renter-friendly changes I’ve managed to make it useful and more than that, it feels like a peaceful sanctuary, tucked away. I’m sharing how I made this changes…

Clued in by the sun streaming through her bedroom window, Rebekah realized her sunny side yard would be the ideal place to grow vegetables.

I have to take my trash container to the street each week. I have a safety issue! My yard slopes from the side patio to the property line (fence). When the grass is dormant or wet, I can easily fall when trying to move the trash cart thru the side gate. At my age I need a safer walk way to get my trash container out to the street. Its 9 feet from the patio to the side fence with a 2 1/2 foot drop.
