Frequently Asked Questions
What does World Cinema refer to?
It basically refers to foreign and international films and films in languages other than English (however, this is not always the case as some international films are in English). Everyone has their own definition and idea of what specifically it means but for the sake of this blog, it pertains to films from…
- Africa
- Middle East
- Asia
- Europe (except the UK unless they are films in a language other than English)
- South America, Mexico, Central America
- Oceania (includes Australia and New Zealand).
Do you take requests?
Yes, we do.
Please understand that it might take some time for the film to be located and gifs made and allow us the time to do so.
Also that the request may be rejected in the event that we are unable to locate the film or if the film is something that this blog will not be posting about.
Can you reblog more of _____ ?
Yes, absolutely. Just send in a request for the film or the country you’d like to see more content from and we will see what we can do.
Where can I watch?
We don’t provide links on where you can watch however, if you look at letterboxd or justwatch, they have a lot of information about what films are available in your country and where you can watch them.
you can also look at the #resources tag on this blog, it has a number of places that you can watch certain films.
