I guess we’ll never know

most snail species lay hundreds of eggs at a time. this makes me wonder about a few possibilities for escargon:

  1. anthro snails in kirby follow this trend of large clutches and he has many siblings.
  2. anthro snails in kirby follow this trend of large clutches and, for whatever reason (perhaps a tragedy), he has few or no siblings.
  3. anthro snails in kirby do not follow this trend of large clutches and he has a non-tragic amount of siblings (be it few or none).

we, of course, have no evidence to believe he has siblings, but i don’t recall any evidence against the thought. his behavior (which is subjective) reminds me of either an only child, doted upon by a strict but loving mother, or a youngest sibling, treated similarly but having the added familial effect of feeling a need to “prove himself”.

much to think about.

only way i’m leaving tumblr is when they pry its cold, stiff corpse from my grip, but if that happens… frankly, it won’t stop me from gabbing. nothing can stop me from gabbing. it is my duty.

hold my hand. i won’t let go.

i don’t usually toy with the idea that the games and anime are connected chronologically, but thinking about if dedede picked up engineering as a result of escargon teaching his majesty about it… giggles and kicks my feet.

it would take a lot of patience on both of their ends – from anidede to learn something complicated and new, and from escargon to put up with dedede’s antics – so it’d be unlikely. but it’d be cuuuute. anidede is certainly capable of learning new things as a result of raw passion… the trick is to get him passionate. perhaps once they’re both older, post-anime storyline, and chilled out a bit…

i can watch most anikabi episodes over and over and over again, but there are certain ones that i’m very likely to rewatch when my random number generator suggests them, even if i’ve watched them recently.

i’ve seen 55, 59, and 88 more times than i can count. i also have specific episodes i tend to watch while drunk, as they make me very emotional – 25 and 39. i also pick up episode 78 a lot, most often when i’m going through it. i suppose you could call this batch of episodes my “comfort” episodes (aha. for better or for worse, if you know each plot).

the list could go on… but frankly, there aren’t many episodes i don’t like, so it could get extensive. i want to make a tier list at some point.

everybody. tell me your favorites. now!!

got wine drunk last night and was thinking really hard about the meaning of episode 55 in terms of anidede and dealing with his emotional state btw. in case you were wondering.
