When you get beyond the basics, rules become less useful, and obviously this is even harder for someone whose language doesn't use articles. In this case, "positioning accuracy" is specific - it is the accuracy of a tool, so "the" is appropriate. If it were used as a generic concept, we would leave it out, as in: Positioning accuracy is important.
