Wrong = incorrect, absolutely not the right thing/idea/answer -a fact

(*British people sometimes use the word poorly to mean sick though! But we never use that in the US)

A: "Poorly" refers to an action that was performed inadequately or below standard.

"He performed poorly on the exam."

"Barely" refers to an action that just meets what is required and no more.

"She barely completed the job on time."

A: For someone who is poor?

A: This sounds natural to me! Though you would normally only say it to friends/family as it's quite informal. :)
