Elizabeth ✨ Preschool for You on Instagram: "Magnetic Ant Maze 🐜 I made this with my class a few years ago but it was so much fun I find myself pulling it out of the closet every spring. To begin, I drew ant tunnels and then the kids glued on the beans. The ant is from our toy bug collection and I simply hot glued it to a small magnet. The ant “moves” by connecting to another magnet underneath the box lid✨ • • • • • #antmaze #ants #stemforkids #learningthroughplay #bugs #insectstudy #playislearning #preschool #prek #preschoolclassroom #diygames #cardboardcrafts #recycleandplay #sustainableplay #stemeducation #stemactivities #stemactivitiesforkids #scienceforkids #earlychildhoodeducation #reggioinspired #reggioinspiredteachers #playbasedlearning #learningthroughnature #natureplay #early Ants For Preschoolers, Preschool Ant Craft, Ant Activity For Kids, Creepy Crawlies Craft For Kids, Ant Activity For Preschool, Ant Tunnels, Insects Activities Preschool, Insects Activities For Kids, Ant Hill Craft

Anatomy of an Ant using our rock & stick loose parts. I kept this very simple & did not get overly scientific -- just pointing out the number of body parts, number of legs, and number of antennae. Fun way to get creative with loose parts plus the kids are handling natural materials and counting as we go. They loved this and we made a table full of them (swipe right for a view of some my kids did) counting and singing "The Ants Go Marching" as we went! . . . #letteraunit #lettera #aisforant #t...
