This one is a really visual way to explore subtraction. . The idea is to lay out the pom-pom ‘apples’ on the holes and then push through the amount that you are subtracting before counting how many are left. You could easily add more holes to make it more challenging. . A little bit of tape at the bottom means you can record the answer using a chalk pen or similar, before wiping it off. . You could also use this for counting backwards or 1:1 correspondence-say the next number each time you push one through the hole. . . . . . . . . . #inspiremyplay #recycleandplay #toddlerplay #toddleractivities #finemotorskills #finemotoractivities #learnth Counting Backwards, Kinder Centers, Chalk Pens, Games For Toddlers, Counting Activities, Toddler Play, Fine Motor Activities, Play Activities, Learning Through Play
