Dinotopia tattoo

The Chandaran transitional alphabet is commonly found in the southwest regions of Dinotopia. It is a transitional alphabet between Roman letters and the Dinotopia footprint alphabet. That makes it easily readable. Once someone learns it, they automatically have the footprint alphabet hidden in each letter, so it’s easy to encode a line further even without a key.

The Footprint Alphabet was used mostly by three-toed dinosaurs, which were the best scribes, to write messages in sand on riverbanks or beaches. They wrote anything from warnings to jokes. Most Dinotopian writing is written out in sandboxes this saves on paper scrolls, since it is easier to erase. The scribes, while 'writing', act more like dancers; hopping, twisting and stepping to make the right marks.[1]
